FAQs

  • At your initial consultation, Clare will ask you a range of questions related to your diet, medical history and lifestyle. This initial consultation usually lasts around an hour and can be carried out virtually or in person.

Once she has a better understanding of your current concerns and background, she will then use her clinical expertise alongside her professional culinary experience to create a bespoke plan, designed to help you achieve your goals.

Follow-up sessions (lasting either 60 or 30 minutes) will then be scheduled at regular intervals, where you will be given the chance to review progress, report on symptoms and have a general well-being check-in.

These sessions may also include cooking tuition, nutritional education and referrals to other clinical experts.

The number of sessions and timelines will depend on your individual needs.

  • Every client’s needs are totally individual and are assessed on a case-by-case basis. After an initial consultation, a treatment plan can be made based on your needs.

  • As a qualified dietician with no affiliation to any brands or private companies, Clare will only ever recommend a supplement if there is scientific evidence to support doing so.

Clare prefers to subscribe to holistic diet and lifestyle strategies, as opposed to supplements.

  • No, you do not need to have any tests done before your first appointment.

In some circumstances, Clare may recommend blood, breath, stool or other tests if deemed necessary. Clare can help to coordinate this either via your NHS GP or through your preferred healthcare specialist.
